Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1948 Watch

The latest Reverso model from Jaeger-LeCoultre pays tribute to a iconic version of the swiveling watch, which was introduced back in 1948.
The Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1948 features the original silver-toned dial characterised by blue faceted baton-type hands and applied hour markers which stand out for better legibility. And at six o’clock is the small seconds sub-dial. Below the Jaeger-LeCoultre logo, the distinctive inscription “Fabriqué en Suisse” (made in Switzerland) inscription as on the original.
This new Reverso model comes in a very comfortable slender shape. The polished steel case (27.4 mm x 46.8 mm) incorporates the complex swivelling mechanism, as well as the 2.94 mm thick movement, in just 7.2 mm.
Inside is the JL’s workhorse hand-wound manufacture oval-shaped Calibre 822/2 beat at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 45 hours. The case-back offers a wide surface for personalisation.
