Marvin Malton Cushion M119.23.44.64

Watches in this price range gives you not much alternatives, most are boring once it comes to the design butĀ this timepiece has a lot of style and character. The black PVD steel case is 42mm wide with both brushed and polished surfaces and is very comfortable on the wrist. I have had this watch on my wrist for almost every single day for about 1 month, and I must say that it is one of the most comfortable watches I have ever worn.. The cushion shape gives you a watch in a really good size, especially with the short lugs helping it to feel and look neat on most wrists.

On the side of the case there is a historic Marvin logo engraving. The angled, geometric crown is a nice touch with the Marvin crown logo The caseback has a sapphire crystal exhibition window for seeing the automatic movement SW200 with the Marvin rotor.
The dial is quite good look with its metallic black and textured face. There are applied, polished hour markers that are a mix of Arabic numerals and baton markers. Note the small red mark for 8 o’clock which is a signature element in all Marvin watches. Ā Between 5 and 7 you will find the “open” date window which gives the dial an extra touch.Ā The minute ring around the dial gives the watch a sportier look while the hands are retro inspired. Sometimes, the hands are hard to read in some lighting situations and in the dark, it is almost impossible to tell what the time is due the lackĀ of luminous markers. But, overall, the dial has a great look.

The watch is powered by a Sellita SW200 automatic movement which is basically a replica of the ETA 2824. The strap, has perforated leather that has soft padding on the upper section and it is a slide and switch “easy interchangleable” type.Ā Marvin has taken the classic look and constructed it with the Malton Cushion and added with stylish Ā look. Overall, a timepiece with a lot of character that you’ll want to have on your wrist.
